we didnt check in as it was very run down and smelt musty.The owner was away so the restaurant was shut!we didnt except the room and wouldnt bother going again.Needs some loving attention and alot of updating.

Shower did not work, decor was 'tired' and the hotel in need of some renovation. The proprietor was over worked as no other staff available, and standard of accomodation and overall experience did not warrant the high cost of stay (£110 per night)

Delightful and helpful receptionist/assistant manageress. Helpful and friendly housekeeper and restaurant manager.

Dreadful and sickmaking smell of diesel on the landing which was mentioned in a report I read dated April when the hotel management claimed they had fixed the problem. I did not dream it would still be there 4 months later.

Poor shower. Hotels really should have pumped showers and non leaking enclosures.

Overall: This is a good hotel with mainly excellent staff and managers. Clean and comfortable and reasonably well equiped. I have put yes for staying agian but I would leave if the smell was still there and get my money back. (107123961)
