Very good breakfast, very clean rooms, friendly staff, WiFi actually worked in the room on the topmost floor (but no guarantee, very low signal strength). Good location to visit the seafront/pier or town centre (5-10 minutes each). Several restaurants nearby.

My room and the bathroom were a bit narrow.

Overall: Well, what should I say, it was a nice stay there and if I come back to Eastbourne, I will definitely consider staying there again.  (107883866)

the hotel was situated in prime location for what we required

The people we went with had to be moved from their room because they were put in a family room which was needed for other guests. The problem was that the staff moved their belongings while we were out which resulted them leaving some of their possesions behind when we came home . It was a bit of an inconvienence.

Overall: We had a good weakend. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was clean and had a relaxing atmosphere.  (107521835)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
