Excellent facillities in a wonderful location. We were upgraded and got more for our money than we'd expected. The hotel is in a fine position. An excellent cluster of buidlings with some fine features. A well stocked bar. Responsive staff who sought to meet customers needs. Food quality good.

A small point - surprising portion control limitations at breakfast time. I've stayed in less expensive places where there was greater choice and flexibility.

Hotel very clean, helpful friendly staff

Evening meals overpriced, meal on 2nd night was a disaster not as nice as 1st night. sweets definitely overpriced.

Overall: Overall bed and breakfast was very good, just felt they tried to make money on the evening meals as hotel away from other eateries.  (107249189)

Comfortable and food was good.

Noisy re-fill of toilet cistern. No heating in the romm even though evenings were cold in our marvellous July weather.

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
