Staff (reception & bar) were very friendly and helpful. All the housekeeping staff said "good morning" everyday.
received newspaper outside room 1st morning, nothing next morning, then paper was at reception the following day. I was informed papers are always collected from reception even thought it had been delivered the first day!
Overall: We have stayed at this hotel many times for long weekends at we have family near by. We always get reasonable rates on the internet. Also the location is excellent as we fly into Manchester, then visit Chester and Liverpool. Unfortunately we never have time to visit the gym or pool. Tend not to eat in the restaurant as I think it is a little expensive for the quality. As I travel alone with my 14yr daughter we always feel safe and secure which is very important to us. All the staff were friendly and very helpful including housekeeping, reception and bar. (107489587)

Plesant and very good hotel
took over one hour to check in unable to find our booking, we were just leaving when they found it, would not possibly book this way again

The leisure facilities were excellent. Breakfast was good. Lots of choice. We also liked the pub.
Room was cold. we had bad weather for end of august and could not get heating on.
Overall: Parking is great. Not easy to get out of hotel. make sure you get code for barrier. Also signposts to get back onto motorway were limited and the way you enter hotel is on a one way road. we just gat out with luck. The pool and spa were good. They also have a sauna single sex ones and a steam room for male and females to share. Gym was small. Rooms were small but had everything you needed. Pub was well stocked with every drink you would expect. breakfast was lovely. Highly recommended. Overall a good hotel. we went to Knowsley safari after. but also close to Chester zoo. (3305146813)
