Very helpful and friendly female member of staff who managed room and meal services.
Quiet room in spite of proximity to a busy main highway.
Clearly this hotel has seen better days, and the website is misleading as it describes the premises in better order than we found it.
Overall: In spite of general delapidation of the hotel we were happy to stay there, and appreciated the warm and efficient service from the one member of staff who looked after us. (108229191)

The attention of staff was excellent. The waitress and chef came in early to serve breakfast as we had to leave before the normal breakfast time. Rooms were comfortable and clean.
Poor Hotel signage from main road. It is only noticable from 1 side of the A1 and we came from the other side. The hotel looked derelict and unkempt from the carpark. No directions to show you where to book in. We nearly left to find somewhere else to stay when a member of staff walked into carpark. We had booked 2 rooms but they were not together and the single room was for a single female.
Overall: The hotel is good value for money if you dont spook easily. It is quite eerie outwith summer time. (107470899)

Breakfast slightly overdone.
Arriving in the car park the correct name of the hotel is not displayed.
The sat nav position is approx .5 miles out from the post code supplied, i would prefer to have GPS Co-ordinates on all hotels
