The person in charge could not do enough for us. Very welcoming and homely. Room was good size for a singel hotel room and all hotel was very warm considering the bad weather (snow)

Could have done with a quilt rather than a blanket Not much pressure in shower

Overall: Would visit again as hospitality and food was excellent  (107353866)

The Signature Indian restaurant in the basement is excellent. The hotel itself is a little threadbare, but cheap and friendly.

There was confusion over cancelling one of the three rooms I had booked. I feared I would be unable to cancel the one room over the Internet without cancelling all three, so I phoned the hotel to cancel and was told that was fine. When I arrived I was told it wasn't fine, and I would have to pay for the first night's stay in the cancelled room. When I complained I got this cut by half, but I'm still £20 out of pocket (so is the hotel). Next time I will phone the hotel to book and not use the Internet.

Overall: Cheap, no-frills place to stay, close to conference centre and beach.  (97587456)

Good location, on site restaurant but did not try it. Friendly staff.

Old fashioned and a little shabby and a little noisy, but clean.

Overall: If you looking for a room just to rest you head then this is the place for you.  (107188619)

Friendly staff.good size room. Excellent Indian resterant, which was part of the hotel.

The room was too hot, evan with the window open. The tea and coffie provided in the room wasn't very nice.

Overall: I enjoyed my stay and thought the Indian resterant was great and the food tasty. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The room was clean and a good size.  (97745739)

Why do we publish ratings from Booking.com?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Booking.com (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Booking.com or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
