Nice size room overlooking harbour. Two big windows to open and let in fresh air. Parking right outside. Nice breakfast.
The location on the Active Hotel site map is incorrect. It states that it is at 24 Harbor Road when it is 24 Harbor Row. The Guest House is about 1 mile from the location on the map. No one answered front door bell when we arrived. Had to drive to another hotel some distance away to be told that there was someone at the Guest House. When we came back the lady said that the bell was not loud enough and she did not hear us. Bathroom very small and toilet very uncomfortable to sit on. Nearly impossible to dry off in bathroom without opening door.
Overall: Nice location, good room overlooking harbour. Problem is check-in appears to be constant with this premises. A different lady served breakfast and she was very good.

Food and staff were friendly
arrived at a locked hotel with no staff, we were directed to a nearby hotel owned by the same person, arrived and check in was slow, the rooms were new with no numbers on the doors and staff couldnt find the keys, room was small bu the bed was far too big for the room and made i t cramped, no tea coffee facilities in room

Convenient location right in the heart of Cobh, Close to shops restaurants and pubs and easy available parking.
Overall: I have no complaint about the accomodation I enjoyed the stay.

My Wife and I stayed at Harleys two nights during a motoring tour in May 2007 Excellent location on the seafront,large comfortable room overlooking the sea
There was nothing to dislike about the accommodation.
Overall: Try and get a front room overlooking the sea, unbelievable to see enormous shipping passing just yards from hotel on its way to and from Cork harbour. You will enjoy the good hearty breakfast served by the friendly efficient staff. There is much to see in this very historic town, don't miss the Heritage Centre
