This Hotel/Pub is warm & friendly, rooms are comfortable and its in a nice rural setting. I have been staying there on & off for the last 4 years while on business in Birmingham. I think its now under new owners? Well the service has not changed. Very nice to sit in front of the log fire & sup some real ale.......perfect, full breakfast was wounderful. lets have more pubs like this. I will be returning in the new year.
One very small niggle. I went out to Straford -Upon -Avon for a drink & dinner with an old work colleague who lives in the same village. We deceided to return to the pub at 10.45 for the last couple of drinks, only to find the pub & bar closed. I had access to my room through the rear entrance, pity as this would have completed a perfect evening.

I was a bit disappointed when I arrived because I didn't like the entrance and I found a bit dark in the receptin area. The room was really nice a bit small though for a big double bed. I liked the style, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom very clean. The breakfast was really good. I found the location very peaceful but if you want more excitement you have to go to Stratford.
I think that the reception area should be more attractive and brighter so that it can give you a better impression when you walk in.
