Quiet enough street. Some Tube traffic noise but not intrusive. Handy to Pubs and Cafes. Handy to Tube. Walking distance to Museums and Royal Albert Hall. Short taxi ride to Hyde Park Corner Tube for ramp and escalator access to trains.

Decor looking a bit tired.

Overall: Very suitable for our purpose. Breakfasts were always fresh and good variety available. Staff were friendly and very helpful.  (108146663)

location was the best part of the hotel

staff were unhelpful and on our 2nd day the cleaning staff had decided to rearrange our beds into a double bed arrangement (my young daughter and i had a twin room)so, despite being 5months pregnant i was told i would have to move the beds myself and change the bed sheets to single ones if i wanted the room back to how it was. the staff were rude and unapologetic about all of this.

Overall: good location, easy bus ride or walk to marble arch but the hotel itself was unimpressive and i found the staff to be unhelpful throughout our stay and at times rude.  (107731626)

The hotel was one massive con the swimming pool was broken the sky was not sky! the referbishment as advertise was not apparent. i booked a double and got a twin. the y then changed this and my new room key didnt work so had to be let in by night manager and could not leave the room as their was a high chance we wouldnt be able to get back in. buffet breakfast was very poor and cheap. no one asked how my stay was on check out !!!!!!! to be honest i think Active should check the hotels they advertise as thisw was one massive con !

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
