Friendly and helpful staff
Public areas were well appointed and stylish
Bedroom had a lot of storage space
Bedroom furniture quality did not really match with rest of hotel
Lack of sockets close to a mirror (essential for hairdriers!)
Lack of space close to a socket for the kettle
Breakfast not included
Overall: Fit for purpose, but quite expensive for a one-night stay in the area (108184995)

Well appointed bathroom, overall facilities fair to good. Quality of food very good, however N.B. points below.
The quality of bed and bedding was the worst for any hotel I have stayed in - including much cheaper hotels. The mattress and pillows were thin and lumpy, and the 'boiled' blanket reminiscent of those in a hostel. Neither my daughter nor I had a decent night's sleep either night because of them.
We had dinner Sunday evening - the bread rolls were hard and stale, the second glass of wine I requested failed to appear, and the Lemon Possett I requested for desert arrived as a Lemon Tart.
Rooms very noisy - conversations from adjacent rooms were easily overhead.
Overall: The hotel had the feel of a large chain - impersonal and cold. The staff, although polite, were not particularly friendly or welcoming. We really did not enjoy this experience. Much too expensive for the facilities and levels of comfort. (108315063)

Lovely clean hotel on outskirts of Emsworth. Easy to find and lots of parking.
Wedding reception in progress and therefore bar etc not as it would normally be.
