Food was ok but menu minimal. Unfortunately they ran out of tap beer and my husband and another guest offered to have a look to see what the problem was, but unfortunately couldn't get it working. Althought the hotel has been lovely refurbished there are a few teething problems, for example, the noise when you flushed the loo, which continued to knock and bang all night.

The hotel lighting wasn't working and bedside lamps and an extension cable covered the main stair and corridors. There was a lighting fault which we were not made aware of. The room had no cups for tea nor glasses for drinking water - mouth rinsing..We had to ask..The TV Channels were a not tuned in correctly or giving a decent enough signal to watch programmes and the toilets were noisy on other floors . This woke us up a lot during the night.

Overall: The room was good value and the bed was confortable. Great shower  (108442974)

Staff were very friendly - nothing was a hassle. Clean towels on bed on second day even though we only used 1 towel the night before. Room was very clean.

Had a room "over looking the River Tay" although bad weather prevented us seeing it! Room very close to a busy road and I am a very light sleeper who likes the windows open, so around 5.30/6am Friday monrning the traffic started to get busy and noisy. Wasn't intending to be awake that early.

Overall: Would certainly stay again, but perhaps in a different room. Slight mix up when settling the bill as my receipt said "Total Stay £110" and we were being charged £110 per couple (£220) but the manager excepted what we said and only chanrged us £110. Would definately go back but not to pay £220.  (108157169)

Staff friendly and helpful.Room very nice.

Booked a room for 3 adults but third bed not made up and therefore one of my party slept on couch. Apart from this everything was satisfactory and staff did apologise in the morning. This would not deter me from booking again.

Really delicious sandwiches for lunch and lovely cooked breakfast. Any complaint dealt with efficiently and pleasantly! Considerate staff!
