Substantial breakfasts

bathroom a very awkward shape,unable to stand and shower.

Breakfast. Good sized room and bathroom. Tea and coffee facilities in room. Free broadband wi-fi.

Poor plumbing meant unable to use shower. Sewage smells in room - reported to staff but not resolved. Main restaurant closed Tuesday and Wednesday evenings due to preparation for weekend wedding function. High level of traffic noise throughout the night in room facing road (should have requested room away from road.

The manager and her staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and good value for money and we were all made to feel very welcome. The bedrooms were very clean and the en-suite was good. Overall a very good stay after a very long day within the area. We would definately stay here again.

The only problem we found was the heat within the hotel and especially the bedrooms. I dont think the radiators were on but there must have been some form of underfloor heating and it was excessively hot. I must stress that this was the only problem we found.

Overall: Very good stay and we would definately use this hotel again. The manageress was particularly helpful, very hardworking and friendly.  (107595673)

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
