The Hotel was well run in a beautiful location, even though there was a big party in the grounds one evening we were not diturbed or interupted as things were very well organized

The seating in the lounges needed to be more comfortable and relaxing this was the only drawback to a lovely stay

Overall: The four of us enjoyed a good stay, the food was great and rooms very clean  (108610165)

Hotel location VG, rooms/presentation VG. Staff excellent, food excellent - would highly recommend.

A few minor repairs required in the bathroom; one sink tap very loose and shower head would not stay at a usable angle.

Overall: The hotel is in a good location and very well kept. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. The room which was in one of the buildings out of the mail hotel building was beautifully presented, well equiped and had a lovely view.  (108877269)

A nice country style hotel in an exclelent location. This place has lots of potential. Food was good, staff very good.

This hotel is awaiting a much needed face-lift. The carptet in my bedroom was dirty, as was that in the bathroom. The bathroom needs modernisation. The bedroom was fair, and with furniture appropriate to the country house hotel style. Public spcaces were cosy but again, awaiting improvement.

Overall: I actually enjoyed my stay in this relaxed location. My personal preference is for bed and bathrooms with a more contemporary feel, but others might like this sort of dated country house style.  (107670177)

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire.
