The veiws from our bedroom window were stunning over looking the river avon. The room was modern, with good tea and coffee facillities. Overall a very comfortable stay!

Our room was not cleared out properly,from the previous visitor, but it was soon put right when we complained. we asked for double room but got twin beds. There were no top sheets on the beds.

Overall: Good comfortable beds, great breakfast and only a short walk to salisbury cathedral and shops.  (108145054)

Beautiful setting. Some excellent staff members especially waiting staff in the restaurant

Very hot rooms - window didn't open suffiently. Abrupt receptionists - unable to process the bill or pay by card as their machine had broken

Excellent location. Great food. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. That's about it really (lol)

Nothing really. If I were to pick hairs, I would suggest that you need genuine double beds (not two single beds bolted together), and that you need air-conditioning for the summer.

Quiet Location,Beautiful Surroundings right by the River, Views of Salisbury Cathedral, easy walking distance to centre (5-10 minutes) Clean spacious accomodation...our room (Room 12 in the Modern Wing) had doors leading out onto the garden and down to the river just a few yards away. Beautiful.

After 8am NO HOT WATER. Made comment to desk who remarked "Oh Dear, thats not good, I'll send Housekeeping along" (But never did). Same the following morning. Husband "enjoyed" a cold shower BOTH mornings. You have to get up early for a hot shower.

Overall: Apart from the total LACK of hot water both mornings the Hotel was great  (107596909)

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
