Rooms where fine and the area pleasant
Staff were rude on a couple of occasions, firstly to our course learder in the LRQA corse I attended. Secondly, when serving the expensive pints beer to our table, they seamed to just want to get away rather than serve the customer WHO is at the end of the day paying THEIR wages. Not pleasant
Overall: With the exception of the expensive food, limited menu, expensive beer and rude staff, the rooms were fine!!!!!I would only stay if I had to attend another course at that hotel, People are the Marketing front to deliver a good outlook....TRAIN the staff in manners. (108483241)

Comfortable bed, very clean, very polite and helpful staff. I did not use the restaurant facilities.
The only issue I had was the room had a musty smell when I entered and this did not disappear during my stay.
Overall: Overall my stay was very good and I would stay again. (108807130)

We enjoyed it so much we booked an additional night. The restaurant manager who was delightful even arranged the booking whilst we had breakfast. So we did not even have to go to reception.
This is a really minor point, but my wife who does like coffee felt the vending machine type of coffee we ordered from the bar was not very good.
Overall: I have stayed in numerous hotels over the years, many of them on business but both my wife and I found Cranage Hall one of the best we have ever stayed in. Your staff deserve the highest praise. (108366347)

nice clean room. Comfy bed. Nice breakfast.
TV reception was fuzzy. No biscuits.
Overall: quick overnight stay to break up journey. Room was good, food was fine all the staff we met were very helpful. (107966025)

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire.
