Very friendly and helpful staff. Really comfortable bed. En suite was well equipped and tiled so it didn't feel like a converted cupboard. Proper coffee in the rooms!

Overall: If you're looking to stay in the area, then this is a great place to try. Staff were always attentive and helpful, and there were plenty of them. Lounge has a bar and a nice big window to make the most of the lovely view. Furnishings are tasteful and decoration is in keeping. The bed was lovely and comfortable, nice flat screen TV, and you even got a teapot and cafetiere as well as all the instant stuff. Special mention has to go to the food which was amazing. If you're after chicken-in-a-basket price meal then you probably want to look somewhere else, but you DEFINITELY get what you pay for.  (108702528)

Good breakfast. Very good staff.

Room too small and bathroom fan very noisy. I got the impression that they refurbished the room but left some old bits there as well, especially in the bathroom.

Overall: Still a good hotel if you are on holiday or if you don't book a single room (too small).  (108206009)

the food was outstanding and the service was good

our top of the range luxury room overlooked a building site, had a wasp nest outside the window and had a television that repeatedly flashed on and off incessantly after an hour's viewing

Overall: this is an excellent restaurant attached to a moderate but pricey hotel  (107874339)

Everything was excellent !!!

Overall: Our stay was excellent. The hotel was spotless every where. The bedroom comfortable, bathroom perfect. Restaurant wonderfull, super food, and presentation 100%, staff very effient. Only two minor negative points, the good menu did not change in three days, and the cost is a little high. Hope to stay again soon. The menu did not change during our three night stay  (107854594)
