Lovely building and good staff
We bought a day ticket for First buses and couldn't get onto a Lothian bus. I suppose you might have warned us. That was the only "bad" point and hardly your fault

Friendly with great service and an excellent bus service into Edinburgh City Centre.
Only the Scottish weather. Lots of rain but it didn't spoil the break.
Onlt the wet Scottish weather - as usual, so no surprise.

from checking in to leaving nothing but the best of service, nothing was to much trouble for the staff who were excellent!! The food in the restaurant was of the highest standard & we felt that the price we paid was very good indeed for the very high quality. Our room was so lovely & very very comfy. The honesty bar is such a lovely idea & we enjoyed this very much, it was really nice to stay in the hotel as many hotels these days are all plastic etc - this hotel certainly was in the old style which we really enjoyed,felt so relaxed in the surroundings.
Overall: Great will be going back but for a longer stay this time. Our thanks to the staff who made our stay very good indeed. (107504625)
