The bathroom was looking a little tired and the shower was the size of the ones used in the hairdressers

Very pleased with the decor and cleanliness
no television or music in lounge
Overall: The hotel is very clean and staff are friendly . It is however further to walk to Lord street and the promenade than we had anticipated. when we went downstairs at 7pm, we found that there was no television or radio there,just a game of scrabble and some books . It was extremely quiet, nice if you want a relaxing stay. It was only when we looked at a leaflet advertising the hotel that we read that there was a bar in the hotel; unfortunately we were not informed of this, although I do think that this was an oversight as the proprieters were busy serving lunch as we arrived. Breakfast was very nice and the staff serving the food were very polite and friendly. (97367291)
