friendly staff. fridge in bedroom, very handy.good views from dining room over the sea.breakfast good, hot & well-cooked.

First impressions not good as water leaking in front entrance, bedroom small & quite cramped for a double, boiler-room very noisy, had to keep window closed, views of back of building from room. Could have been dusted better. Stains on chair cover, window net dirty & torn.

Overall: Overall, a very tired hotel, in need of some TLC, staff very nice, quite good value for money.  (108974731)

Value for money. Location. Friendly and caring staff trying their best.

General interior a bit tired, with signs of severe wear and tear in accommodation areas that needs investment to improve. Roofs leaked during period of heavy rain; thus, there were buckets everywhere - including on the reception desk.

Overall: Fit for purpose, but wirh friendly staff trying their very best.  (108782261)

great value for money, staff friendly and approachable. Excellent evening meal at great value again. Breakfast choices also very good

decor slightly dated however i found this appealing. No other bad points

Overall: for £40 per night per twin room I really thought this was an excellent deal. Although room was dated, everything worked it was clean and roomy and the food was excellent. I would certainly book here again  (108246589)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
