The hotel was traditionally furnished which, for an English couple on holiday, was delightful. The staff were experienced, cheerful and helpful. The meal in the restaurant was of Michelin standard with Scottish prices and was very much enjoyed.

A table or shelf in the bathroom would have been very useful for toiletries - instead they had to stay on the floor!

Reception staff get a bit muddled - possibly becasue of the information supplied to them.

Good size room, comfortable and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good.

Would have preferred a kingsize or double bed but as we booked late this is not a major issue.

Did not refill one of two soap dispensers in bathroom! Invoice at checking out was not correct at first attempt.
