Refurbished general and dining areas are first class.
Rural location of hotel and views from it are excellent.
Cooked breakfast items needed replenishment and could have been warmer.
Overall: Excellent value for money experience in terms of hotel facilities and staffing. (108891956)

Staff friendly and responsive. Refurbished parts of hotel excellent, which is nearing completion in bedrooms. Reception and restaurant area completed to a high standard. Upgraded for sunday night, this room was extremely good
Poor room for noise, standard of beds were poor and way past their life expectancy. Dubious thoughts for bed linen being changed, hairs on sheet could have been chambermaid's. Upgraded for second night with full apologies. Advised room was due an upgrade. Therefore hotel scores higher than noted above.
Overall: Request room which is well away from function rooms and front doorway of hotel. Especially on a Friday or Saturday due to weddings. Your stay will be fine if out of these two days. (107580945)

Amazing decor in the common areas, food in the restaurant was also excellent.
Bathroom needs modernising and the shower did not work (standard room).
Overall: Lovely hotel, great decor, great staff and great food. Only letdown was the bathroom which I was told they are in the process of being done. (108790906)

Very friendly receptionist, nothing was too much trouble. Also waiter in restaurant was very helpful.

The check in and main bar area were nice.The main restaurant for evening meals was good.
The lack of staff at the main bar was poor(the check in staff normaly had to cover the bar).The breakfast was generally cold on most mornings.The shower was not working properly and the TV reception was poor.
Overall: The hotel in general was ok.I am a frequent hotel user and for the full price of the rooms I would be a little bit unhappy with the overall package.(I booked online and got a discounted tariff so I did not pay full price) (108701324)
