Excellent staff that were very accomodating, asked for a cheese board at 10.30pm and they provided one with some chilled wine even though the kitchen was closed.

Dining was very good experience all round ~ we ate in the dining room and not in the pub section adjacent to the bar facilites although we did enjoy drinks there. The Inn was as expected since we had been to Burford before and knew how old the facility is.
At 0745 hours the bathroom lights and the ceiling bedroom light would not turn on - all other electrical outlets worked. Used the bedside lamps in bathroom to shower etc. At 0710 the bathroom and bedroom lights came on without switches being touched! Shower head leaked out of the door onto the floor when we tried to adjust temperature before getting into shower. Reported to staff. Suggest replace with flexible hose and shower head.
Overall: My wife and I and our friends enjoyed the experience. We would probably not stay at this hotel again because future visits to the Cotswolds will be long duration stays and the accommodations will include cooking facilities and extra bedrooms. (107878861)

Good location and food.
Our bedroom (the brewery) backed onto a roof system that had some form of ventilation/air conditioning units there. There was a long sustained noise at 5am in the morning that woke us and continued for some time. The noise came a further 4 or 5 times before we went down for breakfast and checked out. I did point this out to the receptionist. I cannot believe that this would have been the first complaint. Although we liked the hotel I would not stay in a room that backed onto the roofs again.
