There was plenty of food in the kitchen and the room was comfortable and my fellow guests were very friendly

I never met any member of staff at all during my stay I never met the owner there was no staff present and I was let in by other guests.It was self service and that was never stated when I was booking in

Friendly and flexible about my late check-in, really appreciated my room being upgraded (on account of vacancies that night), excellent self-service facilities.

not fault of hotel, however there is no pizza takeaway shop nearby :-(

no hassle check in. staff gave plenty of info regards bus and taxi service to event we were attending. Very clean and tidy guest house. Would definitely return.

was not quite sure if i liked the idea of having to make our own breakfast but actually by end of weekend realised it was actually better as we could have a long lie if we wanted without being stuck to a rigid time. having to get taxi to event but having said that the taxi came within ten minutes and NEC was only a ten minute drive.

Overall: my niece and i had a lovely stay. I stayed at Hilton hotel last year for the same event and can honestly say that i much preferred staying at James Guest House as it was far more cosy and inviting. I would recommend it to my friends without hesitation.  (97781238)

Fantastic place. It was very affordable for the James Suite. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen facilities were perfect.
