The room which was a good size was clean and the bed comfortable. The food was very good.

Breakfast was included and this was basic but nice.

Very annoyed that one of our party staying in another room was moved on arrival to another hotel. No phone call was made to me in advance to warn us that they were overbooked. We were not advised in advance that our shower ran off a tank and therefore had limited hot water.

Staff were very pleasant. Good hearty breakfast Bedroom very clean & comfortable

Dining tables still had not been cleared properly when we booked in at 5pm. Stairs needed vacuuming. Could not get shower to work.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
