Excellent value for money. The bedroom was clean and spacious,the bed comfortable, and an added bonus of a jacuzzi bath. The food was well presented and breakfast was plentiful. All staff were courteous,friendly, and efficient. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to family and friends and whenever we visit Chester we would look to stay at this hotel.

Overall: This is an 18th century Hotel & you have to remember this....it will be a bit Quirky.....in places but this for us adds to staying in a place like this..instead of a boring premier Inn etc....this place is full of character & warmth & the breakfast was superb & the waiting on staff in breakfast room could not do enough for you......Excellent (108138230)

everything you needed for your stay was at hand
only thing the soft drinks were in bottles and i did find it expensive

Price,quality,and service. Perfect place to relax prior to attending a training event the following day. I needed a good night's sleep - it proved to be a comfortable quiet room. Had a bar meal which was excellent and the waitress couldn't be more helpful and polite. So refreshing nowadays.Food was excellent and the lounge was so relaxing with comfortable seating and gentle music.
Overall: Excellent - couldn't find it when looking at hotels near the post code of where I needed to be the next day and found it by chance when looking at the AA route planner. Delighted to discover a quality hotel at a price comparable with the basic travel lodges. (107609861)
