Once in a room clean and quiet. Breakfast adequate.Good location for station ++ and city.

Booked non smoking - given smoking had to change to twin. Alarm call not received on either day inspite of reminder and no apology

Overall: It could have been so much better. Staff attitudes variable from good to not interested. Too many mistakes to make the overall stay a pleasure. Just unlucky this weekend I guess!  (107317311)

Clean well presented hotel with plenty of facilities. Good location in the centre of Liverpool. Friendly staff. Excellent buffet breakfast included in the price. Secure parking included. Reasonable bar prices.

Emergency service sirens throughout the night. Full of Liverpool fans. (Which is not good if you have just lost 4-0 against them).

Overall: Excellent, clean hotel with great facilities. A little pricey but you get what you pay for. Woken up throughout the night because of Police sirens. Have already booked to stay again in December for the Everton game.  (108922409)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
