All the staff were very friendly and this made the stay enjoyable. The service at breakfast and evening meal was very good. The bar staff made time to have a little chat which made it for us. The rooms were clean and plenty of tea and coffee in the room if needed.
My wife and I enjoy more modern hotels, this was a little dated for us, but this is purely our own taste.

Excellent staff- attentive, professional and well-presented. Room had excellent view and balcony from which to enjoy it. Entertainment every night after dinner. Good food and extensive wine list. Nice and quiet.
Fine dining experience sometimes spoiled by over-efficiency- too rushed. Food sometimes on the table before wine has been ordered.
