Room decor was contemporary and beautifully done. All fittings and finishing were fresh and new. Attention to detail was evident. Candle in bathroom for candle-lit experience!!Bed was comfortable too.

None with regard to accommodation. We didn't sample the restaurant so cannot comment on this.

The staff were very friendly - nothing was too much trouble. The room was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated.

The only minor quibble would be that the restaurant didn't open until about 7pm and no other food seemed to be available. We were going to a concert so needed to get something to eat around 5 - 6pm. The Italian restaurant next door was open in the afternoon (owned by the same people) so we were able to get something to eat but a choice other than pizza or pasta would have been good.

Overall: We had a great time and were made to feel at home. The breakfast was lovely - plenty of choice and fresh. A bowl of fresh fruit was available for guests to pick at through the day which was a nice touch. The staff were very good, always on hand and offering assistance. I would certainly stay again if I was in the area.  (107529317)

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
