No one available for check out. kitchen / dining room worker took payment.
Tried to book for following week but unable to do so as he was not familiar with booking process.
Unable to issue a VAT receipt only issued with credit card copy.
This spoilt the whole experience

Nice venue and location. Room tidy. Pleasant staff.
Double room booked and single room provided. I was moved to another when I asked but what is the point of booking if details are ignored. Also no replies to emails prior to booking. No air con in rooms which was not good on a hot day.

Extremely courteous, helpful staff. Lovely building and grounds. VEry happy to find an iron and ironing board in the room. Availability of room servie was a big suprise for such a reasonably priced room.
Sticking bathroom door, cracked bathroom floor and squeaky headboard. The website is inpenetrable!
Overall: Excellent value for money. Charming staff. Have already recommended to several local businesses. (108651260)

Check in was easy and helpful staff. Rooms comfortable and clean
Breakfast was poor. We were unable to sit together on one table as no one had cleared the larger tables. We had to ask for milk, orange and brown bread to be refilled. There were dirty pots on the servery area that previous customers had presumabley put there as no one had cleared them from the tables.

Lovely old building with lots of character,nice old grounds,excellent indian meal in restaurant and not too expensive,staff polite.
Charged me doulble for the drinks at the meal and it took ages for refund and again when checking out they had charged me for someone elses meal and again it took 20 mins to prove I was right.
Overall: Nice setting but had to question every transaction.Room was valve for money and I would recommend staying there but look at all your bills carefully. (108957536)
