Book a deluxe room-the four poster bed was divine! Food was also excellent, but the best thing was the staff- very friendly and were so discreet which allowed us to enjoy the relaxing stay we'd hoped for.
The outside of the hotel needs a good lick of paint to attract visitors. We were a bit surprised on arrival how dowdy the place looked, but don't let this put you off!
Overall: If you're looking for a relaxing, quiet break then this is the place for you. There's not much to do in the area apart from walking or visiting Oban, but if you don't actually want to do anything this place is perfect. The accommodation, food and staff were all exactly what we needed. We will return again, especially for another hideaway break! (108884765)

The room was well equipped and clean and had a marvelous view. The food and drink were excellent. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the library with the many guide books and use of the internet. Well located to all attractions.
