Far to expensive compared to the other hotels we stayed in. For the money we paid, we did not expect a buffet breakfast.

Friendly, courteous & helpful staff, excellent location in the centre of town. Good views up & down the estuary. Clean rooms, comfotable beds. Spacious & airy dining room particularly within the conservatory area. Plentiful and well cooked (even though a little basic) breakfast

General decor and facilities in need of an upgrade particularly in the circulation and bar areas. The residents bar is not very enticing located in the corner of the dining room (rather soul less). A couple of very minor points, within our room - the sliding toilet door offered very limited privacy from the bedroom & I will reserve judgement on the novel idea of locating the tv on top of a wardrobe!

Overall: We really enjoyed our stay in this no frills hotel and would definitely revisit.  (108315160)

Location & friendly staff

Top floor (on which our room was located) appeared to be in process of renovation.

Staff very friendly and helpful. My husband is disabled and all the staff were extremely helpful and understanding. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were very good, with a good choice. The Hotel is in a Beautiful setting, overlooking the Harbour. We had a balcony room which was very relaxing to sit and watch the harbour activity. Cleanliness of the room was good and was cleaned everyday.

The On-Suite was very small and tight and could do with refurbishment. The ground-floor rooms (reception, bar etc.)would benefit from redecoration.

Overall: Overall the stay was comfortable and relaxing, with very good staff.  (107888431)
