We received a text message in the morning wishing us a safe journey and asking for a rough arrival time. The welcome was lovely, the lady who greeted us knew which guests we were and showed a genuine interest in us.
During the evening when we were having showers, the light in the Bathroom stopped working which mean that we had to shower with the door to the bedroom open. It wasn't a huge issue and when we knocked to tell the owners about the problem they said that they would have a quick look straight away - when we came back from our evening out, the light was fixed ! Perfect.
Overall: The room was small but, very cosy and comfortable. The decor was lovely and the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The bathroom was very compact with just a small shower cubicle. Having said all of this, it was exactly what we were looking for - a comfortable bed in Windermere. A lovely weekend all round - and the breakfast was lovely !! (107427532)
