Great location, clean rooms, welcoming and friendly staff, very good breakfast.

A bit 'ricketty' in places and possibly a bit over-priced (we stayed in a Holiday Inn (with a pool) the following night for £30 pounds less?

Clean, friendly and a great sea view. Breakfast was really nice but change the sausages!

Parking on the seafront can be difficult, internal fire doors slammed shut loudly between floors and hence late guests would wake us

Good location on sea front, clean, good breakfast,big room, bathroom.

No evening meal available in the "Hotel". No shampoo or shower gel available even though dispensers were available but not filled. Long climb to top floor with luggage- lift small and not very reliable.

Hotel was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast very good (self service). Convenient location. Pleasant lounge. Pleasant staff. Plentiful hot water at good temperature.

No hotel information found in room (facilities available, bar opening times, how to use phone, etc.). WC cistern filled with a dribble - took 30 minutes to refill. No shower over bath in room 1 (fitting was blanked off for some reason). Bar was open "on demand" and normally unlit, and was not very inviting as being used for ironing, although service was prompt and courteous. Not clear that bar closed when staff left, before 10pm. Website implied limited free parking at hotel, but did not make it clear this was on-street (although this did not affect our stay, as plenty of spaces available after about 4pm, but if arriving earlier might have to park round the back or a short walk away). Not enough sockets to plug clock, TV and lamp in at the same time.

Overall: Generally good. In common with other similarly priced hotels and B&Bs in Aberystwyth, there is a general lack of attention to detail in some areas.  (108932501)
