pleasant helpful staff. Pleasant, quiet and clean room
nobody at reception for check in, took a long time and a walk to the private residence at the back of the hotel to find somebody. TV didn't work. Could not get internet connection. Not all the breakfast menue available.
Overall: Quite satisfactory barring the above negatives. No internet connection annoying as WIFI provision reason for selecting the hotel.

Open and friendly owners, accomodating nature. Breakfast choice is good evening meals were not available this time of year (last week in October). Free wifi throughout hotel
Not so much bad points, but this is a large old country house and the need for redecorating is a little apparent in "SOME" areas of the hotel. It's delay was understandable in the current economic climate. The dining room and our room No1 was pefectly acceptable and we enjoyed the openess of the propritors.
Overall: The hotel was used as a centre for 2 nights stay bearing in mind the tarrif it was a fine. I would certainly stay in the hotel again but summer would be nice.

Service was excellent. Rooms were prepared with care and felt very welcoming.
Toilet flush permanently leaked and so flush action was very poor. TV remote control was poor.
