I must comment on the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff at the Holiday Inn Colchester. They went out of their way to be helpful and were very cheerful even though the hotel was quite busy and they had a lot to do.

The swimming pool was rather small and in need of refurbishment.

bathroom not really clean , specifically the bathroom floor was dirty on arrival

The room was nice and warm on a particularly cold day. For such a large hotel it was very quiet.

None really although we would have liked more milk on the tray.

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
