The Hotel was very clean and breakfast was excellent and we could not complain about the food or how clean it was

The rooms are small and the en-suites are also small,we understood when we made the booking that we were able to have food in the evening but we discovered it was not opened a little disappointed as we were tired and hungry

Overall: We enjoyed our stay and when going to that part of the country we will definately stay with you again  (108226912)

Great food and service. Friendly and helpful staff.

Our room was musty and damp. Especially the second night. Guess it had been aired well in advance of our arrival. Reception acknowledged a problem with inadequate bathroom ventilation fans which were in the process of being replaced, however we felt we ought to have been given a substantial reduction on the room rate because of this problem - especially as the hotel was aware of it in advance. (All our clothes and shoes felt damp when we left so it wasn't a minor problem.)The room rate was rather on the high side anyway. Also, we were under the impression from the website that the hotel was nearer to the beach and town than it was and the website failed to mention that the terrace bar is right on a busy main road.

Overall: Great food, friendly staff. Very damp room. Location not great - busy main road and very steep 20 minute walk to beach, St Ives town too far to walk to. Expensive.  (107962436)
