Facilities were very good and it was nice and quiet.

No wine/champagne glasses available (even from reception)
Miscommunication of check-out time. (I had organised a late check-out, and this info was not passed on to the (slightly rude) receptionist.

The apartment suite was fantastic. Although we booked a two-bedroom apartment, they gave us two one-room apartments instead, which meant we had even more space. The kitchen was brilliant, and having a living room was one of the best things about it. We would definitely consider coming back!
The apartments were serviced differently. One apartment had two trash bins, a telephone, toiletries and a doorstop while the other was missing these items. Also, over the four days, one apartment had the bed made and more obvious cleaning than the other. The towels were changed just once, and one of the towels was dingy and stained. The telephones, along with one apartment not having a phone, did not work the entire time, which caused us problems organising our group in the mornings.
Even more disturbing was when one of our party was outside at night, having a cigarette, only to be confronted by a man carrying a ten-inch butcher knife, going around cutting all the cables on the building opposite. The man did not bother him, except to ask for a light and tell him that he was working for the SAS and that "you never saw me", but when he went into reception to tell the receptionist about it, the receptionist dismissed it as being "annoying". A man running around with a ten-inch butcher knife is a little more than annoying, I think! It would have been nice if the receptionist had called the police, or acted a bit more concerned!
Overall: While it was a fantastic place, the security and cleanliness issues need some major work if they want people to consider it worthwhile. It would take a very deep discount or some greatly improved standards for me to consider it again! (97913387)
