Clean Quiet Mmost of needed stuff is available in the room.

Room's location is not good, you see only walls when you open the window. Online booking doesn't give info about the room, and no facilities to choose your room or see photos. Signs to lead to the room's location are not clear. No reminder or instructions about the breakfast (when and where).

great grounds old style good some energy saving points sound of running water in grounds from the manmade weir very relaxing on arrival friendly staff

the grounds were well kept but the water feature should be made more of in particular the river pollution reduced and migrating and local birdlife would be made a feature in time.

Overall: very comfortable but we were not advised no restuarant as prebooked wedding reception the night we booked although local resturants were very near but had we arrived later it could have been a problem.  (108447637)

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
