Basic continental breakfast Bed on under cover on maitress

Nice cooked breakfast. Continental breakfast consisted of a choice of three boxes of cereal and white toast with tea or coffee.
Door didn't lock, no remote control for tv, a bit shabby overall, although room clean. The same man was serving in the bar, checked us in, and showed us to our rooms. This same man took our breakfast order the next morning, and served us, and took our payment when we left. We didn't see anyone else. Therefore breakfast took ages because he was serving another couple. Hopefully they have other staff for when the Inn has more guests staying. This man who served us was very polite and attended to our needs as best he could.
Overall: It was a one night stay to visit relatives, it served it's purpose. The other room occupied by my husband and son was not very clean. We were all cold in the night as I think they still had the summer duvets on, although there were extra duvets and pillows to be had in another cupboard. (108762279)
room was pleasant enough although there wasn't a remote control for the tv but it served the purpose of somewhere to stay overnight. It was also in a very nice village and close to the concert that we were attending.
We were not made to feel particularly welcome on arrival and spoken to rather gruffly. we were asked about what time we would like breakfast but when we arrived at the allotted time there was absolutely no one around and nothing laid out for us to help ourselves. we rang the bell went away and came back but still nothing. we left without having had breakfast that had been paid for.
