Friendly welcome and cheerful free taxi transfer to Stansted Airport at 4.30am. It was also pointed out that free transfer from Stansted train when I arrived would have been arranged if I had asked (I arrived in a paid taxi). Nice to get a pack-up breakfast, given the hour of departure!

Would have been good to have info in rooms about local pub, takeaway etc as most folks would be wanting this. I could have asked but didn't and found one OK anyway. Thin walls and middle of night arrivals make for a broken sleep, but the arrivals are inevitable at an airport hotel. It would reduce the amount of time each person spends in the shared bathroom if there were washbasins in the rooms that share a bathroom.

Overall: Served its purpose - cheap bed for the night prior to an early morning Stansted flight. Staff very friendly and and free transfers to station / airport a good bonus. I opted for a shared bathroom, about which I had no complaints, very clean and tidy; local pub and shop/takeway less than 10 mins walk if you need to grab a late supper when you arrive.  (108305294)

friendliness of staff excellent pick up service and return to airport large family room was big enough for 2 adults and two children good food locally in pub in village good range of cereals for breakfast - counted 8 different ones!

double bed was not comfortable (would be thrown out if we had it at home), kids did not complain to us of their beds, but they would NOT be suitable for adult use, they were worse than our double bed shower was poor, the water pressure weak, the shower control was difficult to use some of the bread left for our self service breakfast was covered in blue mould they use a really strong detergent / anti bacterial spray in the kitchen area which was off-putting and made our eyes water

Overall: Overall we would stay again for the welcome, the friendliness, the pickup and the quiet village location. I am sure that the negative points outlined above will we addressed by the staff.  (107730252)

Friendly staff

Bed squeaked everytime I moved. Shower was just a mixer tap that you had to hold and the water was either boiling or freezing. No keen on a cold, help yourself breakfast.

Overall: Was adequate but I would not recommend it.  (107305713)

The pick up from the airport worked well. Made phone call and car at pick up point 10 minutes later,

Overall: The room was small but perfectly clean. Very convenient having pick up included in the price. Staff friendly.  (107438847)
