VERY WELCOMING AND FRIENDLY STAFF. VERY TRUSTING, HELP YOURSELF TO DRINKS AT THE BAR AND MAKE A NOTE etc. BREAKFAST HEARTY AND LOCALLY SOURCED. BED COMFORTABLE GOOD NIGHT'S SLEEP IN A QUIET PEACEFUL LOCATION.
BATHROOM IN THE SUITE ROOM A LITTLE TIRED LOOKING NEEDS UPDATING.NO DOUBT OK FOR THE OUTDOOR TYPES. AIR FRESHNERS WOULD BE A USEFUL ADDITION ESPECIALLY ON WET DAYS.
Overall: ON THE WHOLE OUR ONE NIGHT STAY WAS VERY PLEASANT IN A VERY PEACEFUL, SCENIC LOCATION. THE ACCOMMODATION WAS COMFORTABLE, CLEAN AND GENERALLY VERY SATISFACTORY. (108253411)

Excellent reception. Good accomodation. Fantastic food. Extremely friendly and helpful. Very relaxing which with a stressful job was really appreciated
Accommodation lovely but could have been difficult if another guest had occupied the adjacent rooms which we would have felt encroached upon our privacy
Overall: Very impressed with the location, warm welcome and cleanliness of the accommodation. We had gone to visit relatives but to also chill out from very stressful jobs and felt totally relaxed. Holly and Lloyd were the best. (107790849)

Nice setting and views. Friendly owners.
As it was a working mill there lots of stairs so this could be a problem for people with disabilities, or the very elderly. Probably we were told on the website about this, but we did not check. We are in our mix-sixties and the stairs did not cause any difficulties for us.

The service was great and the room was a pleasure to go back to. The relaxing whirlpool bath was one of the best features as well as balcony it made for a great and refreshing night. Exellent value for money with the a brilliant breakfast. Will stay there agin soon, what a wonderfull hotel, staff and area.
