peaceful location, friendly staff, quality room

noisy plumbing - described this to Jeff already. Would have liked net curtains as we were on the ground floor and had to close curtains on the view of the scenery outside as we drank our morning cuppa.

The food was gorgeous! We were so happy when I got to our room because it was so lovely. The staff were so welcoming, it was such a freindly environment. Everything about our stay was amazing!

It was a shame we couldnt stay for longer!

Setting: Rural and pieceful, Fantastic venue . Restaurant Food: Outstanding Staff service: welcoming, Friendly, good humoured , Efficient, and helpful.

Overall: We have already recommended it to others and will be back to stay longer next time in the UK. It is by far one of, if not the best value stays  (97292112)

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
