Convenient Within walking distance of the place we were visiting. Breakfast was reasonable quality.
The Crown Hotel is an old building and as such has disadvantages of long corridors and lots of steps and unusual shaped rooms. This can add to the charm but there is a somewhat run down feel about reception and the corridors.
Overall: Friendly,polite staff. Better value than other local hotels where the accommodation was more expensive and the food at breakfast was not so good. (108170175)

Very comfortable, clean and efficiently run hotel.
Overall: Really enjoyed our stay at the Crown hotel,we used to live in Stone and we return quite often to visit friends and relatives, will definitely use this hotel again. (108427821)

Nice and clean, excellent bathroom.
Shower stopped working, a bit of noise from kitchen early in the morning, not very inviting from the rear of the hotel
