I booked for two nights but the hotel only had a reservation for 1 night.
Standard of the food could be better for a four star hotel.

The spa is lovely!
It took about 4 attempts to get the right number for room service, even going via reception left us with just a ringing phone and no answer - the book needs to be clear which number to ring, it had 2!!!

Very pleasant and helpful staff at all role levels. Everyone was delightful and always very spontaneously friendly, whether at reception or meeting the housekeeping staff in the corridor.
Proximity of Parson's Collar, provided food and drink at a more reasonable cos and a relaxed atmosphere
