Clean friendly quiet

Accommodation/Decor rather faded and tired Evening meal no better than adequate. Pub food as it used to be 20 years ago.

Overall: Served its purpose as a stopover. Wouldn't choose to stay for more than that  (108675411)

Excellent bar with good ales and supper food

no real bad points room was a little small but otherwise OK

Overall: Enjoyed our stay pity the weather was a little inclement! but the evening in the bar and the meal more than made up for that  (108571745)

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
