Very smart looking hotel, everything more than satisfactory.

Very tidy, clean rooms. I enjoyed the service and dinner at the attached restaurant. Checking in and out was handled in an efficient and professional manner. Facilities in the room were excellent.
Parking my car was almost a disaster. I was only informed during the the booking that there was a nearby car park for which a charge would be made. When I arrived, I parked my car in the car park in front of the hotel and paid and display. On checking in, I was told to park my car near the Holiday Inn meaning, I lost the earlier parking fees and later paid £11 again in the morning. I would suggest that guests should properly advised about where to park their cars in future. The location of the entrance to the hotel is rather odd and guests should have earlier warning of this. No English breakfast in an English hotel!!!!!

The decor in the room was very nice
there was a problem witht eh card machine when we were trying to check out they ended up charging us twice and the reception staff didn't really seem to know what was going on. the entrance was not secure so anyone could have entered.

The room was very well appointed - bed extremely comfortable - and the staff excellent and attentive. A substantial continental breakfast is included in the rate and cooked options are available. The hotel is very close to the High Street shops including the new North Cross Centre. We ate one night in the restaurant and enjoyed both the speciality cocktails and a superb menu.
Overall: We can recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a smart and friendly place to stay in central Leicester. This is a small hotel with only 14 rooms but it pays close attention to setting high standards of room fit-out and of customer service. (107446415)
