Hotel was clean and well appointed.
Yell had failed to communicate my booking to the hotel, so despite a confirmation email there was no actual reservation when I arrived to check in. Fortunately there were rooms available and we were able to stay as planned. Upon production of the confirmation email Holiday Inn staff also agreed to honour the rate I had thought I had booked.
Overall: Overall the stay was fine. Just a shame that the check in process failed because of Yell's failure to communicate my reservation to the hotel! (108790542)
Best place to stay in Burnley. Have previously stayed at Holiday Inn Express Burnley in Jan 2009. Can not fault the place

Constant television in bar/dining areas .As far as I could ascertain very few ,if any, guests were watching the two large screen TV's .Is it not sufficient for guests to have what is an excellent TV in their bedroom ?

Clean. Well decorated and designed rooms, providing good comfort. Reception and bar area reflects the overall quality, and impressive for first appearance on arrival. Good choice of channels on TV, when you want to relax in your room. Reasonable choice of breakfast menu.
