I would particularly like to recommend the staff who were very hard working, and consistently smiling and helpful. Even when very busy, and we were waiting for a table, they made sure we were helped and informed...and with no sense of the pressure they must have been under. Having worked myself in hospitality and busy restaurants, I know full well how tough it can be, so I really appreciated their friendly service and constant smiles.

Small details, which seem petty to speak about considering how much we enjoyed our stay, but such as the light pull in the bathroom was a frayed bit of cord. Lighting over mirror in room made it difficult to put on make-up (essential to ladies of a certain age!. A personal dislike is shower curtains, they cling!

Overall: Excellent. Staff very good. Ambience was calm and welcoming. Food was very good, especially liked the emphasis on sourcing local foods. Service was excellent. Clean rooms and maintained well. Would definitely recommend this hotel.  (107309383)

Excellent meals in the charming restaurant. very friendly and efficient staff, mostly young well-trained EU citzens. Room very comfortable, clean and light.

I looked for bad points but was unable to find any!
