Clean room, excellent and attentive staff, good home cooking, quiet. Great breakfast.
Overall: Stayed 2 nights to attend family event, the staff here were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Very laid back and unofficious.

cooker old and worn. could not see heat settings on hob dials no grill tray. no shelves or cubords in bathroom
Overall: this was a short break 4 my elderly mother. apart from the above points we both enjoyed our stay and the food we had in the resturant was execlent

all staff were very friendly. Nice to see some locals frequenting the bar too - nice sense of community. Good evening menu choice and reasonable prices (but see bad points too). Breakfast service was good, plenty of choice.
Evening meal - all portions were WAY too large - I heard several other people make the same remark. They could have halved the portions and you'd have still had a decent meal... Cleanliness - overall fine, but the hoover/duster hadn't found all the nooks & crannies (including inside walk-in wardrobe) - once you noticed one bit, you noticed quite a bit more! Overnight - an alarm panel outside our door decided to emit a high pitched noise from 3am onwards (still going when we left at 9.30), and there was no (apparent) night service to call. Lost a lot of sleep as a result...
Overall: The weather let things down for our stay - but we'll come back during finer weather (hopefully), and for more than one night, as the place has the potential for a nice quiet stay in a pretty good location for many Norfolk attractions.
