The owners were very friendly and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Their chat to residents over breakfast was welcoming and a real ice-breaker for guests. Breakfast was excellent too. Video library was also good.

I guess I expect en suite to be bigger...but maybe I'm spoiled. Also, toilet seat was not fixed properly and kept slipping off...honest I'm only 120lbs!!

Overall: I would definitely stay here again. (107665692)

The owners were very friendly and helpful on our arrival in the early evening. It was good to have check in time from 3 till 6 pm.They had provided some very nice touches for the festive season.....mince pies and chocs by the bed. Excellent range of DVD,s if required and the breakfast was wholseome and welll cooked.Stay was very reasonably priced too.Ideally located for Windermere town centre.

Overall: We thouroughly enjoyed our spontanoeous mini break and will certainly use Laural cottage again. (107565059)
